So I saw this yesterday and was dumbfounded... A marine uses just his hands and knocks out another marine with a swift chop to the neck! I went ahead and youtubed other videos and found some similar results with highly trained martial arts people. There was even one where a guy was knocked out cause his opponent applied pressure to a pressure point in his fingers!
What's your thoughts on this guys? Is this real or fake?
Either way, I'd love to be able to preform this on the next guy that decides to pick a fight with me...
Meh I'd say real. His fall may have looked a bit supported but would have hurt.
ReplyDeleteNot fake

ReplyDeleteUnpleasant
ReplyDeleteIt didn't look hard enough, buuuut it could still possibly be real. That's a tender pressure point.
ReplyDeletesaw the vid and it was sick, could kick anyones ass
ReplyDeleteLooks like it hurt.
ReplyDeleteOh that's cool, I wanna learn how to do that!
ReplyDeleteThats awesome! ahaha
ReplyDeleteAs a trained martial artist, and one who has gotten into many fisted-cuffs fights... These techniques are real and valid.
ReplyDeleteThe side of the neck chop hits with enough force to cause nerve shock just below the base of the cerebellum. This causes disorientation and a drop in motor skill, forcing the brain to lock up and shut down to prevent damage, resulting in unconsciousness.
Definitely real. The Marines teach serious self defense. The Israeli special forces have probably the nastiest looking system I've seen.
ReplyDeleteMarines are taught by vulcan's <.<
ReplyDeleteIt's legit.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little concerned by the laughter after the fact though.
I didn't have to watch this, I had seen it already, and it was funny and awesome at the same time.
ReplyDeleteSIQ POST BRO!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed reading! :)
ReplyDeleteMarine Team 6?
ReplyDeletereal, why would they fake it...
ReplyDeleteI definitely could believe this. Seen crazier martial arts stuff before, but this is definitely pretty cool.
ReplyDelete@phosports
ReplyDeleteIt's the internet. People love to make fake stuff for views or just simply for fun.
real deffenetly
ReplyDeleteThis is real. I was actually on a self-defense course and we were taught the exact same move. And it works.
ReplyDeleteI think this is pretty real. Its strange how we are designed to succumb to such a simple move though.
ReplyDeleteIt looks real but still, idk it's weird how easily that move make him go down. cool vid!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA that looks awesome, I'd want to do that if someone bigger than me picked up a fight for me... me likey :p good resolution for the vid, not too big, not too small ^^
ReplyDeleteHe's not a marine, he's a damn ninja without spikes.
ReplyDeletenot fake, ofc.
ReplyDeletenot face saw that before!
ReplyDeletereal pressure points are an awesome tool in fighting =)
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy. Imagine doing that to someone in a bar fight. You'd look insane.
ReplyDeleteHoly god I need to learn this like yesterday
ReplyDeleteif that's real i wanna know how to do it !
ReplyDeleteIt's not fake, but I don't think anybody can (or will) tell you how to do it.
ReplyDeleteThat pressure point thing is not fake. Someone demonstrated it on me once.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's real... and legal.
ReplyDeleteseems kinda fake to me - doubt it works
ReplyDeleteProbably really messed with the guys nerves.
